Start your FREE family fun evening with a rainbow confront painting session followed by drag queen storytelling and music, show stopping move numbers, mini-theater performances and a family pride parade for all to partake in! Brought to you by the Santa Monica Pier Corporation and The Crow comedy club.

Pride Point Volleyball hosts open-format play for all skill levels, inviting participants to spike, set, and connect in a welcoming, community-driven event on the beach north of Santa Monica Pier.
p.m., Pride Disco and Kid Zone&nbs May 28, AM *Updated June 17, * The beloved SaMo Pride is back this June with a month full of programming designed to celebrate, honor and support the LGBTQ+ community. SaMo Pride was established in as a citywide partnership between the city of Santa Monica, Downtown Santa Monica, Inc., Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica Place, Santa Monica Travel and Tourism and Main Street Santa Monica, dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and providing a platform to champion individuality and acceptance. And, this year, we welcome the Main Street Business Improvement District and the Summer Soulstice verb streets event into the SaMo Pride umbrella. SaMo Pride continues to try to increase visibility and understanding of the broad spectrum of gender identities and experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. The month kicked off with a Proclamation at the Santa Monica City Council meeting on May 27, written and designed by this year’s cohort from the Crow Comedy’s Family Pride Story-echtomy Program participants. Each year, the City of Santa Monica joins other cities around the world in designating June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Pride Month is a month-long celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) community. It is a period to reflect on the progress that has been made in the combat for LGBTQ+ rights, and to recommit to the work that still needs to be done. SaMo Pride focuses on art, events for people of all ages, and community connection, and support for the LGBTQ+ community. The parade celebrates diversity, love, and resilience in the heart of West Hollywood. Each year, Parade Icons are selected for their significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ community, visibility, community involvement, and advocacy. The City of West Hollywood and WeHo Pride producer JJLA announced that supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne, Emmy-nominated actress and filmmaker Nava Mau, Love on the Spectrum star Pari Kim, and former NFL player Chris Kluwe will serve as the WeHo Pride Parade Icons. WeHo Pride honors the four individuals for their work in bringing the LGBTQ+ community and social justice issues to the forefront, as skillfully as expanding representation in pop culture.
