Miley Cyrus tried to cast some shade at Liam but ended up offending all gay people

Miley Cyrus, as we know, is an outspoken lass, unafraid to speak her mind about most things.

On the subject of Liam Hemsworth, however, her partner of ten years whom she split from in August, she has not said a great deal other than respectful things about him and their relationship.

“Liam and I have been together for a decade,” she tweeted on August   &#;I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”

Over the weekend, however, she seemed to have changed her stance a little.

Filming a livestream video chat with current beau, Australian singer-songwriter Cody Simpson, Cyrus threw some pretty serious shade in Liam’s direction, while also, perhaps inadvertently, landing some blows on Kaitlynn Carter, the reality star she had a brief fling with after splitting from Liam, and, skillfully, the entire LGBQTI community, to be honest.

&#;You don&#;t have to be gay, there are good people with d__ks out there, you&#;ve just got to find them. You&#;ve got to find a d__k that

Writing on her official Twitter page this evening (May 13), the songstress explained that she wasn't hitting out at Hemsworth and was just trying to provoke a reaction from the crowd:

"Just FYI what I said the other night at G.A.Y had nothing to undertake with Liam. I was just tryin' to rile up the

Miley Cyrus just a released a statement clarifying what she meant during an Instagram Live she did with Cody Simpson last night. Controversy erupted after Cyrus said "you don't have to be gay" and seemingly slammed her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
